This post is really more just a journal entry, so I remember how hard things were when I want to have another baby ;)
Madilynn is 8 weeks old, a whole 2 months. At the beginning she was amazing, slept well, ate well, never cried.......and then I stopped taking Vicadin. After that everything changed. If she isn't sleeping she is crying. I've never seen a baby cry so much. You can be holding her and she's crying.....eating and she's crying....laying on the floor and she's crying.......driving in the car and she's crying. It has been VERY hard. Yesterday was the first good day she has had, and today was good too. She slept very well all day and ALL night. I changed her diaper, went to throw it away and came back to her sleeping. THAT HASN'T HAPPENED IN 2 MONTHS!!! She also fell asleep in the car. It's so nice to drive to chico without a crying baby the whole way. I really hope this is the begining of our new life, I would love it if she wasn't crying all the time.
She is a beautiful baby (even more beautiful when she's not crying) and it has been a great 2 days!!!

Don't worry girlie! Like my Hubby always tells me....." this is just a stage, it doesn't last forever" thank goodness for that! It is always hard in the beginning cause you all are trying to get to know each other and then throwing 2 kids into the mix instead of one.....holy moly! This too shall pass.....remember that! She is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo gorgeous! Do what's best for you and take it one day at a time! Good luck! Xoxo call me if you ever want to vent! LOL. We have all been there.
I'm glad you are writing this and posting it--you must vent! It can be so hard! I had a couple of colicky babies, but to be honest they only cried for several hours every night. Hang in there! It can't last forever. Heavenly Father knows you are a tough chick!
Awesome! I hope it is a new wrinkle too ;0) I remember the crying ALL THE TIME thing, it is probably the most difficult thing EVER! Is she 6 weeks now? Or approaching? I swear that makes a world of a difference...then some other new wrinkle comes along..hehe..did I hear you say "another" ? in this post!? That would be fabulous ;0)xoxox
Preston sucked so bad at sleeping for almost two years. Now he is a rockstar that can sleep on coal if he needed to. This stage will pass. I did just catch up on your other posts and she is so beautiful. So I know that part of you is just so tired, but at least you have this amazingly beautiful baby! feel free to vent-the blogs are all about honesty! We have all been there!!!! XOXO!
Hang in there...this too shall pass! Liam was a cranky baby for the first two months, and our saving grace was one of those blow-up exercise balls. We would sit on it while holding him and bounce and bounce. He loved it and it calmed him right away. We actually used it with all three kiddos! The blog is a great place to vent...you are a wonderful mama and doing a great job!
I'm sorry to hear what a rough first two months it had been with Madilynn crying so much. Hopefully, that stage has passed and this is a new beginning and she is a much happier baby from now on! She's so beautiful, and she has a great mommy!! It's great being able to vent on your blog and release some of the stress . . . we're hear to listen!
