Becky and I were at the 2nd hand store and she found 10 baskets so she gave me 5 and kept 5......

This is what I did with mine, first I organized my craft corner with 2 of them, my ribbon was out of control!!

Then I took a cluttered bookcase and made it a "toy" area in the playroom, I spraypainted them white.

Water

My kid loves to play in water!! I just put out a Huge bowl of water and she'll play there for 1/2 hour or more. she loves it so much if she was a wonder twin her powers would be in the form of water!! (if you understand that reference you are as old as me!)



She has this new pose when you ask her to say cheese for pictures, she always pushes one hip out....it's kinda funny to watch her. If she's sitting she will stand up just so she can do it!

Breakfast

If you know Alex at all you know he LOVES breakfast. We go out 1 Saturday a month and this last time we went to the Comeback Diner here in Paradise. He loves their hashbrowns. I enjoy it too, but by the time I'm done eating I always feel overloaded with carbs....probably because I always get french toast and hashbrowns!! Anyway we had fun!

Park

We went to the park a few weeks ago and I just remembered I took some pictures.

1st haircut

I gave Lexie her 1st haircut today, I hope it's even. Her hair was all different lengths so hopefully this will just even it out a bit. I was going to take her to a place in Chico but it was $17.00, that's crazy!! Here are the after photos.

New Home!

We moved the chickens to their coop last night and all is well. It took several hours to repair their coop but they are happy to be outdoors....and I'm happy to have them out!! It was getting to stinky having them in the house! This is Lexie's first time feeding them outdoors, she had a blast! Hopefully she remembers how much fun it is when she's 8 and it's her chore to feed the chickens and collect eggs ;)

Finally!!!

The past few months I keep telling myself to get our food storage up and ready and today I started!! With the help of Food Storage Made Easy I got our 72 hour kits together and it was really easy!!!

1st I got bags from the Dollar Store.


Added Velcro so things wouldn't fall out of our kits

Gathered the goods....


And into the bags they went!

Easter Fun!

There were so many eggs we just started throwing them on the ground.....each kid got TONS of candy!
