I love having a girl

I love little bows and when I make one, I nake a ton!! I always make a mess, but I have so much fun making things, it just clears my head. These were easy to make and ohhh so cute!

Yeah for sleep

Well it's been a week since Lexie got sick and last night, for the first time since being sick, she slept in her own bed!!!! I feel awake, alive and see beauty in everything! Yeah for sleep!!!

Sick little girl!

I feel so bad for my little lady. It all started on Wed. when she had a fever of 100.7. Of course that's not too high, but it only got worse! She got no sleep wed night and her cough got bad! Thursday I took her to the Dr. and she has bronchitis. We got her an antibiotic but her fever got up to 104....uggghhh! She was so tired, and was able to sleep alllllllll day. Friday she was about 5% better but then Sat she got 10% worse. She slept allllllll day again. Sunday and today have been ok, but her cough is non stop. I know, I'm complaining, sorry but it has all been so bad.............and now Alex is sick. Man, don't come over unless you want to catch something!!

ok, this girl loves music, she is for sure an Eller. She has to get to the source no matter who or what she has to crawl over. The radio cant just be on, she has to touch it!!

We meet again!

Jared, Angie and the girls are home (for about 3 weeks)!! It has been super great having them in town and we can't wait til they get back from Germany for good! We went up to the Reeve's for dinner and had a blast.

Crib

Shes been standing up lately so we had to lower her crib, and now almost every morning somethings hanging out. It just makes me laugh, she's so happy in the mornings (if she's had enough sleep!)

Little helper

Doesn't matter what we're doing anymore, she wants to be involved. She just has to have her hands in it all, love that kid!

Happy 10 months!!

Man how time is flying by!! Our little one is 10 months old, and I can't believe it. Some of the things she is doing.....

1. Crawling EVERYWHERE. It's not just the army crawl anymore.
2. Eating only table food and feeding herself(she actually gets mad if she can't do it herself).
3. Standing up on her own (with the help of the couch or my legs).
4. Clapping and saying "yeah!!".
5 Saying da da but not really understanding it means daddy.
6. When you blow in her face she'll try and blow back.
7. Drinking out of a sippy cup and/or a straw.
8. She has two bottom teeth.
9. Sleeps from 8p to 6a, nurses and goes back to sleep until 9a.
10. Knows what a camera is and will crawl to you if you get it out. She wants to take her own pictures!

Words of Warning!

Did you know your car ignition can just stop turning?? Did you know the more keys you have on your key ring, the higher your chances of this happening are. I didn't, but I do now. I went to start my car last week and there was no budging. If I tried any harder it would have broken the key off. We called a locksmith and they came out to fix it (that came with a huge ticket price). He told me to make sure my key doesn't wear down from use (which it had) and to have as few keys on my ring as possible. The worst part about it, is that Alex has been telling me that for years, guess I was wrong.

What a day!!

Is it May??!?! Did I sleep through winter?? Todays weather was amazing! I actually got hot a few times. After taking a walk we hung out on the grass, had some popcorn and just played!! It was super fun and I can't wait to do it again!!

I'm so sorry!

Have you ever done something that you feel guilty about later (who hasn't!!)? This is one of mine. Our baby has been sick for about 5 days now. It started out as a stuffy nose (thought she was teething) then I put the humidifier in her room and it turned to a stuffy nose and cough.....I really don't think humidifiers work. So for the last couple days I have been trying cough syrups to help knock her out and control the cough so she could get to sleep. Although I knew she was tired she would not sleep. We resorted to putting her in bed with us and she would sleep a few hours but was always wide awake in the middle of the night. I couldn't figure it out. Last night she went to bed at 7ish (after really no naps all day) and woke up at 8. stayed up til 10 and then slept til 12am and was up til 230. after that horrible night she was up at 7a. I was exhausted, how was she not?!?!? I was praying for some help, wanting so badly for her to get the sleep she needs to heal herself when a thought came to my mind....read the labels again. what??? i already did.........read the labels again. so i went in there and was reading when i saw a sentence that was almost highlighted! "may cause sleeplessness or nervousness". Opps!! The syrup that everyone uses to knock their kid out was actually keeping mine from sleeping. We decided to go medicine free today and she took 3 naps today, all about 2 hours each. She has been sleeping since 8p and has really only had 2 coughing spells....both she slept through. Now our only problem is that she wants to be held or in our bed.....this is gonna be fun!!!

Happy anniversary honey!! Alex and I have been married for 9 years today. He's an amazing man, husband and father and I am so happy he's mine! What a blessing he is to our family!!
