Quiet

It was much too quiet while I was doing the dishes this morning so I went to investigate.....little did I know the clown convention was in town! Quiet is almost never a good thing!!

Roses

I love having a rose garden. There's nothing better than having a vase full of fresh cut flowers on your dinner table. So Pretty!!

1st movie

I had the brilliant idea to take Lexie to a movie today. Shrek 3 was on and I thought she would love it!! Things started out great.

I asked her to hold her ticket up so Mommy could see it, that's when I knew she was in a mood!









After this picture the movie started and she was ready to go home. It was 2 hours of crying, talking, getting up......uggghhh!! Oh well, you live you learn! Movies on DVD only for another year.

Almost done

This is the second to last thing I'm doing on our entry way. It was fun and I have 2 more frames I may still put in there but for now this is what I up cycled.

It was Becky's idea to put the "L" in the big one and I really like it. I wish the L was larger but that is as big as I could make it.

Jump Rope

This may be hard for you to believe but my little 2 year old is a master at the jump rope.....I have video to prove it!!!

Amazing

Petting Zoo

There is a Petting Zoo in Chico and we visited it yesterday and boy did we have fun!! It was Me, Lexie and Bella, Chris, Leah and their 2 girls and Holly and her son....
The funny thing about this tortoise is of course he walks really slow. He was 1/2 down the road when we got there. at the end of the road there is a fence that you go into to see the animals...after 1/2 hour we went back out that gate and he was about 1 foot away from the gate that was opened. Apparently he loves to go through gates and he was racing as fast as he could to get through the gate before we got back. I could almost hear him say "OH COME ON" when we closed the gate right in front of him. The humor doesn't really translate to text.....but I was laughing!!








Her favorite was the cat, imagine that!!! See her right arm....that's how she says "come on" ....she wanted the cat to join us!











This goat kept eating Bellas shirt.

They had fun feeding, petting and talking to the animals. It was a fun experience and we'll probably do it again next year.

Birthday

Alex had another birthday, I can't believe how old we are both getting. We went to our favorite....The Rice Bowl. Had Sushi and he had is favorite meal the Peppered Steak. Anyway it was fun to hang out. We laughed, cuddled and reminisced.

Upcycling!!!

No matter if you call it Upcycling or recycling....I've got the bug!!! Get me spraypaint and I'll re-purpose anything!!! I was tired of looking at our foyer so I wanted to make it nicer!!! This is what it looked like before.......





I took a green table and 2 really old chairs and pray painted them (I had some help from Alexa).....













And turned it into this........







We are still going to get rid of the flooring and put in tile and I have some more "decorating" to do....little things for the yellow basket and something for the wall where the hats are now. I'll keep you posted!!!
