I have had this recipe for FOREVER! I love how easy it is.....tons of calories......but yummy! It's perfect for when those banana's are brown and no one will eat them. I usually cut it in half and only make 1 loaf, but here is the full recipe!
2 1/2 C. Flour
1 1/2 tsp soda
3/4 C. Butter (soft)
1 1/2 C. Brown Sugar
2 eggs
6-7 Ripe bananas
1 tsp vanilla
1 C. Walnuts (Optional)
Preheat oven to 325. Mix butter, brown sugar, eggs, bananas, and vanilla until well blended. Mix in flour, soda and walnuts. Grease 2 bread loaf pans and split batter evenly between the 2 pans. Bake 60-80 minutes until knife comes out of center clean. Serve warm with butter....Yummy!!
