Madilynn at home

So this has been Madilynn since we've been home. Mostly crying with little mini naps here and there. She's a fireball!

I know you're not suppose to put babies on their tummies to sleep, but she was having tummy time and fell asleep. i was with her and it lasted 10 minutes!

Achon babies like sleeping on their bellies. It helps keep their airway open more. Ian would sleep on his stomach with his head up at an angle so he could breathe better. Ava, my AH baby, also wouldn't sleep on her back past a certain pont. She would only sleep on her stomach. I think some kids just prefer it. At some point too, mommy needs them to sleep to that she can rest.
Madilynn is beautiful and fireball's are so much fun. You have a lovely family.

Aww, she is so precious! I love her tiny little feet =) I wouldn't worry too much about the tummy time, Gabriel loved sleeping on his tummy too.

She is Gorgeous! All that hair is so awesome! She looks just like your husband! My girls do not take naps and never did. They sleep all night so I guess they both feel since they sleep 12 hours straight they don't need to take naps.

P.S. Don't worry about the tummy thing. If it works go with it! :) I would've done the same thing!

She is adorable! Can you imagine what it must be like for these little ones to have to adjust to this world!? I would{probably did} Scream and cry for my first year too..hehe Preston screamed for at least that long maybe even longer {so it felt}and some "Mother" told me then that, babies who cry like that, will grow up to be very smart, sensitive, and understanding kids. I remember thinking "yea right lady" But then I read a book called "Learning your Child's Temperament" {can't remember author} and that book stated something similar...not to brag about my Preston now that he is almost 10, but he is just that type of kid that lady told me about. It has to do with some sensory stuff. Things that make you hmmmm, I suppose. Hang in there, and remember she will grow to be SUPER smart, sensitive, and understanding ;0) BIG HUGS all around...

She is so cute. Preston sucked at sleeping for a LONG time. Now, he's a rock. Seriously. I can bang cymbals in his ears and he won't wake up. She is just the cutest. I love her little feet!

Oh my, she is just so precious! I love the picture with her eyes open, so beautiful with her dark hair and dark eye color. Both my boys were "fireballs" as you say, I never had the "easy" baby. I keep telling myself I'll get paid back and have easy toddler or teenage years, LOL! Guess that's the only way I made it thru some of those crying fits.....

Such cuteness! I think I am going to need to see her again. Aidan was a mini napper too. Wow, in one of the pictures there she really looked like Alex a lot!

Oh my - she is gorgeous!! Love these pics, especially the last three - they should be framed! Little "fireballs" are such a blast!
Simon used to sleep on his tummy a lot too, which really helped with his reflux. He was on an apnea monitor, so we had some reassurance from that. Jude was not on a monitor though and loved sleeping on his tummy too, which always made me nervous, but it was the only way he seemed to get comfortable to sleep at times.
